The Sleeping Worm

The sleeping worm lies awake
For some subtle passion
It givest not the eve of fowl day
Nor grants a lone wolf's passage
To madness

It grieves only for apples insipid
It failed to plunge within
Be them of carnal or innocent stead
It's wrath is but a deed
To happiness

When it cocoons deep, unseen
All are agape, wondering where it's been
Tis' only but the gone, silent hints
Its belly swollen' from love's contempt
For silence...

Professional Handicaps

There are men, I can tell, who live their infant lives in jail. That sour taste which stole away, my childish love of life and play. This evil world is all I know. This haunted playground by the holes. Where dug to hide impunities, dug by the likes of you and me. A shattered tenacity lost in an undertow. A harrowed generosity towards those we know. If maybe nothing new made sense, then something more than thought could glimpse; lost, portrayed realities upon flatscreens. Never wonder just where the screams, for help, for love, have sounded from those shoved; towards vacancy in longing, wandering is blaspheme. What you and I see is all there's left to tell: Professional handicaps lost to no avail!

Submission- Poem

There's no such thing
As flowers blossoming
When all you see
Comes from a screen.

There is no truth
Divine, sublime
Which comes to you
From paper-starch news.

There is no worth
In ferried-births
Brought to our shores
From technology-bred stores.

There is no sight
And there is no vision
For all of us when
We are prone to submission.

Moving Ahead

Hello! I will have my computer back soon, just ordered a new 500GB hard drive and will be on my way to Knoxville in a month to get a place and find a job. Can't wait to move on and do some productive things with my life. Will continue to post writing/updates as they occur. Stay tuned!

Looking Back at 2010 and Some words of Wisdom for 2011

Okay, everything seems like a big damn initiation ritual. I apparently forgot to sell my soul to the illuminati a few years back when everything seemed to be going great. Instead, I went my own way and suffered for it. 2010 is over, left in the dirt on some obscure highway that godforsaken time erected for obscure, shriveled and pointless years similar to dried, old prunes your grandmother used to let sit in the candy bowl and collect dust. My writing has been terribly rejected time and again, the Cavaliers lost Lebron (and now have lost their last 23 games, ironically.) Oh, and my computer crashed with only one chapter to complete in my 60,000 words+ horror novel I had sweated over and poured my soul into. I swear it's a damn conspiracy! About every job I had this year lasted only a month tops as apparently the real world is uncomfortable with folks who carry themselves with confidence (not to mention, THINK for themselves!) The start of 2011 seems promising as I look to really hammer the sklls of every editor under the sun with my prose and poetry. Perhaps I will be posting more soon and letting everyone (or at least whoever gives a flying pigfuck~) know about my crawling from obscurity to relative literary merit. Addio! (P.S: Ordered "The Death Ship" by B. Traven, which I could not find ANYWHERE! At least I can maintain my sanity thanks to the literature readily available, take note techno addicts and hard-up for attention sheep who quiver at the thought that reality is no longer in your favor. YOU ARE PAWNS! SAVE YOURSELVES BEFORE THEY TAKE YOUR LAST SHREDS OF DIGNITY!)
